Your writing is yours
You own everything you write in Writing Assistant. We only store it and show it back to you, on your devices, so the app can work. We claim no rights to it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. One account per person.
Fair use
Do not use Writing Assistant to break the law, to store things you have no right to store, or to attack or overload the service.
The assistant
The assistant only suggests. What goes in your work is your decision. Its suggestions can be wrong. When you use your own AI key, that AI company's terms also apply.
Keeping your work safe
We keep versions and backups and work hard not to lose anything, but no service is perfect: keep your own copy of anything important. The desktop app keeps one on your computer, and you can download a full backup at any time.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will give you the chance to download your writing first unless the law stops us.
